| Janet Wylie is the author and illustrator of The Advent Event. A proud mother of four, Janet's inspiration for The Advent Event came from a desire to see her own children learn about God's great work of salvation through Scripture while establishing new Christmas traditions in a young family. Janet holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts in Missions from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. |

Scott Wylie is the Pastor of Children's Ministries at Colonial Baptist Church in Cary, North Carolina and serves as contributor and editor to The Advent Event. Also a proud parent of two handsome boys, Scott is the author of children's curriculum for biblical education for ages birth through 8th grade. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible & Theology from the Moody Bible Institute and a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. |
